RIFLING
COLLECTION
DESIGN STUDY / CONTOURS, TEXTURE & LIGHT
01 / DESIGN APPROACH
Fine lines.
Distinct contours.
The Rifling Collection uses fine surface lines to highlight the shape of each part. The pattern follows the curves and edges, drawing attention to details that change as you move around the bike.
Line spacing and contour give the surface its depth. Raised edges catch the light while the grooves stay in shadow, bringing out the pattern from different angles.
The Point Cover puts that approach on the bike. The Gen2 photos below show how its texture and profile look alongside the engine, mounting screws and surrounding chrome.

02 / DESIGN DETAILS
Point Cover
The Point Cover pairs a round face with fine surface lines and a stepped outer edge. From a distance, the circular shape stands out. Up close, the pattern and edge details come into focus.
The lines follow the cover’s contours, adding texture without losing the clean outline.

FORM & SURFACE
A closer look
at the details.
The stepped edge creates distinct bands of light and shadow. Finer lines across the face add a more subtle texture.
The contrast between the bold edge and fine surface pattern gives the cover its character. Light brings out both, so the details change with the viewing angle.

03 / THE COLLECTION
The detail behind
the Rifling look.
The Point Cover shown here introduces the Rifling Collection: fine lines, stepped contours and a surface that catches the light from different angles.
The pattern follows the shape of the part, giving it a distinct texture while keeping the overall design clean.
04 / ON THE BIKE
Point Cover
Gen2.
Gen2 builds on the first version, with a closer look at how the cover works with the rest of the bike.
A cover can look right on its own and still need refinement once it is installed.
Its size, edge profile and mounting screws all affect the result. The installed views show how those details sit alongside the engine and surrounding chrome.

DESIGN IN CONTEXT
Getting the details
right.
Small changes to an edge profile or surface pattern can make a noticeable difference once a part is on the bike. The goal is to add detail without overwhelming the surrounding components.
Looking at the cover on the bike helps us judge that balance and decide what needs refining.
05 / DEVELOPMENT STUDY
Exploring texture
on curved surfaces.
The development photo shows machining lines running across curved surfaces and into recesses. Raised areas catch the light while deeper sections fall into shadow, revealing how the pattern changes across the part.
Development sample shown to explore surface texture. This is not a finished Point Cover or a product available for sale.
